I got confused and thought it was the Mercado 28 but it isn't. The prices for some products are higher however many products are unique here. I meant there were some nice keychains that I didn't find anywhere else neither in the other mercados and tianguis. I would say the price may be lightly justify because many products (designs) were not sold elsewhere. However some of the classic bags or other artisanal products that you can find in other store the prices are indeed higher. Not much high higher. I think it's nice to walk around. They may be able to give you a flyer where there are some discounts including a free keychain. You may wish to taste a free tequilla shot there.

Lovely market if you are looking for Mexican crafts and silver, just be careful because they sometimes mix the local items with others, double check. Also prices are higher if you speak in English or ask in dollars. There is a lot of competition amongst the different shops. I still recommend the visit and encourage you to buy there instead of the expensive souvenir shops near the hotel….you will be helping the locals. I specially loved the quality of the Mexican tablecloths and some of the silver and ceramics.

Price and products good ok. I bought some avocados: very tasty, and bread. Keep eyes open about invitations to meeting in order to buy time share or vacation club; BE SMART, ACT SMART

Good place to buy souvenirs an touristic things. Prices are definitely “tourist pricing” but you should bargain at shops and if you are not sure, go around and ask because the prices definitely vary. I have gotten between 15 USD to 85 USD for the same exact product and they do take USD at most stores. We talked to some locals and if you want to see more local and authentic Mexican markets, Market 23 might be a better experience. For tourist magnets and decor, Market 28 has everything you need.

Huge, you can get here almost anything. The items are well displayed, wide selection, easy to browse through and find what you are looking for. The items all have price labels, but they are highly negotiable - the price flexibility also depends on the volume you purchase and your means of payment. Do take advantage of the tequilla and mezcal tasting! They have some of the best bottles open for tasting. We also tried the restaurant. Prices are not the lowest, but the portions were very big! See photos for temptation.

There's a wide variety of stores and restaurants. I love all the souvenirs and clothing. They have very good prices. Most of the restaurants are very decent and affordable. Note that most of these places have their hand-made tortillas a soon. As you order your food. I love that about Mexico.
